When will the student be required to upload their bank statement?
If you require this document to be uploaded on CAS Shield, all students will have to upload a copy of their latest bank statement, should they have selected this type as one of their source of funds.
If the upload of the bank statement has been set as 'Required', the pop up window displayed below will appear. The student is required to confirm the elements in the checklist as shown below.
If something is wrong, it will indicate what amendments/changes the document needs to be compliant.
If the upload of the bank statement has been set as 'Advice-only', the pop up window displayed below will appear. The student can choose to read a list of requirements or go through the checklist exercise to verify their document. In the same way as above, if there is something wrong with their Bank Statement, they will be warned.

When will the student be required to upload their bank letter?
It is an option provided to the student when an uploaded bank statement does not meet all requirements. This is only if the student chooses to submit a bank letter instead of an updated statement.
If the upload of the bank letter has been set as 'Required', the pop up window displayed below will appear. The student is required to confirm the elements in the checklist as shown below.
If the upload of the bank letter has been set as 'Advice only', the pop up window displayed below will appear. Once they confirmed "I understand" at the bottom, this section will be marked as complete.

When will the student be required to upload their bank statement translation?
It is an option provided to the student when an uploaded bank statement is not in English and lacks a translation. This is triggered if the student chooses to submit a translation instead of a bank letter.
If the upload of the bank statement translation has been set as 'Required', the pop up window displayed below will appear.
If the upload of the bank statement translation has been set as 'Advice-only', the pop up window displayed below will appear. Once they confirmed "I understand" at the bottom, this section will be marked as complete.

When will the student be required to upload their parent letter?
If the declared source of funds is in their parents' name.
If the upload of the parent letter has been set as 'Required', the pop up window displayed below will appear. The student is required to confirm the elements in the checklist as shown below.
If something is wrong, it will indicate what amendments/changes the loan letter need to be compliant.
If the upload of the parent letter has been set as 'Advice-only', the pop up window displayed below will appear. The student can choose to read a list of requirements or go through the checklist exercise to verify their document. In the same way as above, if there is something wrong with their letter, they will be warned.
Once they confirmed "I understand" at the bottom, this section will be marked as complete.
