How to upload a CSV report

A CSV (Comma-Separated Values) integration allows institutions to transfer their student data into CAS Shield using CSV files. Institutions using this integration type should upload their CSV file on a regular basis.

For institutions using the SFTP integration (automated upload) it is also possible to upload ad hoc CSV reports if and when required.

Please note: Only UniAdmin and PathwayAdmin users can upload a CSV report to CAS Shield. 

 

Step by step instructions on how to upload a CSV report:

  1. Click on the “Config” button at the top of the spreadsheet view.

       2. Under the “Import Students” section, click “Upload List”.
       3. Click on “Select a file” and choose the CSV report to upload.



*The fields should all have the status 'OK'.

 4. Click on “Upload" to confirm.

 

*The upload should be a success.

5. Once all students have been uploaded, click on “Finish” or “Upload again” if you have another report to upload.
