What equipment does a student need?
Q: The student failed their initial recorded interview but has now passed their second interview. Why is it still showing failed?
A: The failed outcome takes precedence over other outcomes. The best thing to do is to rescind the failed outcome and mark the initial interview as "resit". Once this is done, the overall outcome will change to "passed" based on the second interview.
Q: The responses of the student does not match with the questions, is this a technical issue?
A: This is the result when a student is using multiple browser tab when doing the interview. Possible that the student is checking the questions in advance before recording his/her actual interview.
Q: The student is saying that when he/she tried to record the interview, there was no audio/video, can you help?
A: Please request the student to try using another device or use an alternative peripheral (external webcam and/or headset).
Q: The student is saying that he/she is unable to record the interview, it just keeps on loading or will not let him/her submit the recording, why is this so?
A: Possible that the student does not have a stable internet connection, causing the recording to drop. Note that having a fast connection is not equal to having a stable one. The student may also try to clear the browser cache and restart the browser before recording the interview.
