Why do we carry out interview assessments

Universities hold a Student Sponsor license with UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) and maintain a record of their compliance. One of the requirements of the Basic Compliance Assessment (BCA) is to ensure that refusal rates remain below 5%. To meet this requirement, universities have the right to conduct Credibility Interviews with students who are identified as potential risks to their license, based on UKVI intelligence reports and local insights. 

The Interview Assessment, an outsourced service provided by Enroly, is tailored to the internal needs and requirements of universities to ensure compliance with UKVI rules. This assessment aims to measure the credibility of a student and confirm that their Student Visa is for the purpose of study, rather than simply a means of entering the UK.
