How to resolve a conflict?

Data conflicts in the CAS Checklist

The system generates data conflicts when discrepancies arise between imported data and data edited by either the student, the institution user or the agent, if applicable. Conflicts appear in the CAS Checklist section and are highlighted in red.

The following user types can view and resolve conflicts: UniAdmin, PathwayAdmin, Uni, Pathway, UniSecure, and PathwaySecure.

UniLite and PathwayLite users cannot access the CAS Checklist and therefore cannot view or resolve conflicts.

Steps to Resolve a Conflict

 

  • Navigate to the section in the CAS Checklist where the conflict is flagged.
  • Click "View Conflict" to display the details of the discrepancy.
  • Select the value you want to keep by clicking "Keep Value".
